History;
The death of Tracey Baddock (nee Davis) had been sudden, and very unexpected. There had been complications while giving birth to her second child, and her condition was rapidly turning bad before the MediWitches and Wizards could do anything about it. The child had been priority then, and the baby girl had, indeed, been delivered. However, the world did not know that.
Malcolm, in his grief, had hardly been able to look at the little girl. Her mother had lived long enough to request a name for her, and Malcolm had at least done that much. However, he could not keep her. She looked so much like his wife, and he could not deal with that. So, he turned to an old friend for help, a friend that had lost a wife and child in a situation similar to one Malcolm had just gone through. He paid him to take little Cassiopeia, and from that moment on, she was a Brankovitch.
Her life was typical of what a Pureblooded witch's life would be in New York City. She was accepted into one of the best schools in the Wizarding World, due to her intelligence and even more-so because of her daddy's money. She easily slid into the 'popular kid' crowd, and rose to the top. Cassi was, without a doubt, a natural born leader and a Queen Bee to her very core. She would not very easily give up her throne or share her spotlight, though her crowd didn't seem to have a problem with that. She could be on top, no problem. They followed after her so willingly, and it made her happy.
Her days were spent in classes and gossiping with friends, her nights spent at parties, drinking, and doing things that would be frowned upon. Her summers were spent at clubs and in limos, and she would not have it any other way. She loved being in the city, and was happy with the way her life was going. People followed her around like lost little puppies, and she had a boy or two casting her smiles. That was all she needed, right?
That happiness, however, would come crashing down around her ears before she knew it.
Although she had been living with him for her whole life, Maximus Brankovitch was not her father. When she was told this, it felt as though someone had sucker-punched her. She soon turned angry, as she wanted honesty over everything. Finding out she had been lied to for sixteen years was the biggest form of betrayal. However, when he told her that 'not even magic could cure cancer,' her anger faded into despair.
That meant she would be returning back to her actual family.
Her older brother was an ass, and her father tried too hard. She refused to call him 'Dad,' 'Daddy,' or even 'Father.' To her, he was Malcolm, and that was it. He had not been her father for the past sixteen years -- he had been sending a check in the mail once a month, and that wasn't her idea of good parenting. And so, Cassi decided that being difficult was the best way to go.
She went off to Hogwarts with her brother, and was almost immediately sorted into Slytherin. She found the popular crowd with ease, and planned to slowly slip in and rise to the top. After all, she'd overthrown people before. It couldn't be too hard to do again.

Appearance;
She's naturally blonde, though~
Personality;
Cassi was all together..extremely complicated. She was an individual that was extremely difficult to read, though those who knew her well could probably read her easily. It all depended on who you were and how well she knew you.
Cassi, first and foremost, was spoiled. She had grown up being given whatever she pleased, and she still expected that to happen. When things did not go her way, she was not happy, and it was quite visible when she was. Cassi was never one to keep that to herself, though other things, she did.
How she truly felt about someone would remain unknown unless the person in question was a good friend. To her, first impressions are everything, so if you don’t wow her away at first, it may be difficult-although not impossible-to win her over. If you do not impress her at first, you’ll have to work very hard, though if you work hard enough, you may succeed.
Cassi was very vain, and believed appearances had to do with everything. After all, how one looked was how they presented themselves, and how they presented themselves was very important. Besides, how one dressed reflected their personality as well. Appearances were everything in her world. After all, you never know who you were going to see or what was going to happen. Dressing nicely had you ready for every occasion.
Cassi was also quite conceited. She put herself before many-although not all-people. She did things that were in her best interest, no matter what she had to do to make things work out for her. Cassi was very concerned for herself, though there were a few others that she would do anything and everything for. They knew who they were, and that was all that mattered.
She did, however, have confidence issues. Although she appeared to be overly-confident in herself, deep down, she wasn’t; it was all an act. As a result of this, she needed constant reminders of her good work and needed praise. She was always searching for the acceptance and attention of those around her.
Cassi had quite a temper on her. How easily it was brought out, however, depended on the person, the situation, etc. It took an understanding of her psyche to get her truly mad, or just plain stupidity, and was not brought there all too often. One sure-fire way to piss Cassi off, however, would be to embarrass her. She would not stand for it, not at all, and probably would get revenge. Cassi would probably not forget it, either; never. That was one bad thing about her -- she held grudges, and she never let them go.
Cassi was quite bitter, and in her mind, had every right to be. She had been lied to for sixteen years, and that was unforgivable. She had a habit of being spiteful, and liked getting revenge.
She did not bother with mincing words, and said things as they were. After all, the person she was speaking to would have to learn the truth eventually, and sooner was better than later. So, get it over with, and have them get over it. Cassi was viewed as a bitch for this (and for everything else and this combined, really), though she did not care. She was a bitch, as a matter of fact. She just didn’t care.
She was sarcastic, and often snarky. Her remarks would probably not be kind, and would have some fire-power behind them. She could be nice on occasion, though usually chose not to be.
She, most importantly, loved the spotlight. It was hers; no one else’s. Though who stole her limelight generally paid with humiliation by her, or just by being shunned from her clique. Cassi was the Queen, and that was the end of it.
